Jonny! You don't know me but believe it or not, I've followed your music for over 10 years. I'm stoked that you still make awesome music. Growing up in Cranston, playing in my ska/punk band The Ball-Pit Kings... doin shows with M-80 (if you even remember)... those were the days, man. Good for you.
The Village Idiots were actually the very first ska band I've ever heard - in the auditorium of Cranston High School West. I still have that CD and rock it regularly. So I owe you a huge THANK YOU for introducing me to the music that has been a part of my life for so long

Hey guys! You're the coolest, funniest, and the greatest band I know! When I get older, I'm totally coming to a show. Until then, I love hearing you guys practice at the practice space. See you soon.

I saw you guys tonight at the Badfish concert at Toad's Place in New Haven. I think Hank might remember me. I was the kid with the two friends who wanted to go to your next show.
I just wanted to say that I've seen Badfish perform at Toad's for the past three performances. So I've seen about 8 or 9 opening bands for them. And let me just say, you guys are probably the BEST opening band that Badfish could have (besides Scotty Don't, but that doesn't count). Seriously. I've only seen one other opener come close to being the right style. You guys played such down-to-earth, pragmatic, skankable ska. It's refreshing to hear a band who appreciates the two-tone and stays true to its roots, while giving the contemporary spin as well. Seriously. You guys kicked fucking ass. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the next concert at the Webster Underground, but I will try to make it to subsequent concerts. Thanks for the CDs and tickets, hank. Please don't stop playing, guys. So much potential. And thank the rest of you guys for an awesome show!
